The field of HCI includes many interests and perspectives on human-computer interaction. In order to serve this large and heterogeneous community, CHI 2002 invites technical submissions in many different participation categories. If you are unsure which category to submit to, please consult the category co-chairs or your regional liaison.

You may prepare as many submissions as you like in the same or different categories. Related submissions in complementary categories (e.g., a paper and a demonstration) are strongly encouraged.

Some participation categories allow for Video Submissions.

First time authors can request a mentor. Scholarship funds are also available for authors with accepted submissions.

Opportunities also exist for being a reviewer of CHI 2002 submissions.
